Imteaz Mahmud
Bangladesh Consultant - Monitoring and Evaluation
Imteaz joined The Power of Nutrition as the Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant in December 2020. He provides technical input on data management, monitoring, and evaluation for the team. He is also responsible for managing our Bangladesh programme.
Imteaz has over 9 years of experience in public health and nutrition. Before joining us, he served as a Project Research Physician at icddr,b, a renowned international research organisation. He was a co-investigator of two clinical trials funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, designed to assess the synergy between different combinations of direct nutrition interventions in improving the nutritional status of a cohort of malnourished children.
Imteaz is a Chevening scholar for 2019–20. He holds an MSc in Nutrition for Global Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and an MBBS from Dhaka Medical College. He is a "Registered Associate Nutritionist" (ANutr).
