We welcome some G7 countries announcing support for the looming global food and malnutrition crisis, but are very concerned by the overall amounts. Hundreds of millions of lives are at risk – to prevent a catastrophic crisis requires billions, not millions of dollars. We hope this is just the start of financial commitments in the coming days, especially from the German Government given it currently holds the G7 Presidency.
