Susan Pieri

Susan joined The Power of Nutrition in 2023 to secure funding from government sources globally to expand the organisation’s work to finance nutrition programmes across Africa and Asia.
From 2012 to 2022, she played a significant role in growing and diversifying institutional income across Africa and Asia for Sightsavers, increasing revenue from £10 million to £60 million a year. From 2021, Susan had responsibility for the overall programme operations and delivery of the UK Aid flagship disability inclusive development programme.
Prior to working at Sightsavers, she spent more than 10 years at the UK Department for International Development in policy, programme and corporate roles, including a posting to Malawi.
