This ambitious programme provided financial support and technical guidance to the Government of Ethiopia to improve the reach of vital health and nutrition interventions to tackle the country’s high rate of stunting.

Supporting the State of Gujarat alongside partners to improve women and children’s health and nutrition

The programme works with the Government of India and the Government of the State of Gujarat to support its nutrition systems and services.

Supporting children with better nutrition in Benin

Benin - Alibori, Borgou & Zou

This programme aims to improve mothers’ and children’s nutritional wellbeing through supporting the government directly with coordination and planning, increasing community understanding around nutrition (particularly for their children) and increasing the quality of nutrition services for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

This $30 million programme supports governmental efforts to tackle malnutrition, scaling-up a range of high-impact nutrition interventions, supporting pregnant women and young children.

Our programme in Nigeria supports research and technical assistance provided by the World Bank which helps scale-up a package of nutrition-related interventions in 12 states.

Convening partners to address the high rates of anaemia in Zambia

Zambia

This partnership aims to tackle the high rates of anaemia in Zambia through multiple micronutrient supplements as an alternative to iron and folic acid. In doing so, it looks to generate evidence to support the wider scale-up of the intervention, both in Zambia and worldwide.

Supporting mothers and children in Tanzania with our inaugural programme

Tanzania

In our inaugural programme, we partnered with the World Bank and the Government of Tanzania to respond to persistently high levels of child stunting and maternal mortality rates in the country. Interventions were designed to improve maternal, neonatal and child health services nationwide.
